Class 2 - Studio Time
We were able to do user journey test using paper prototypes. We quickly sketch a web page journey to test. For my test sample, I produced 2 journey options for the user, where I would give them one task, and if the user choose the link from either options, it will still give them the same result. There is also a fail option if the user select a link outside of option 1 or 2, then we will have to stop the test and start over again.
User Task: Find the article about a drunk pilot
Our Lecturer Tim performed the test while one of my classmate Minjoo acts as the observer and wrote down notes. Tim selected option 2 which quickly gave him the correct results. Tim also suggested that maybe there was a need for another page as the link from 'Travel' category and headline seems not to match. Also, it was suggested to me, to think about the categories that may work for the 6 persona, how to fit in the search engine and which user will be priority and which user will have to go through a little further while the journey will still work for them.
